Senior Citizens come to Main School

Mrs. Gravitz's class did a senior citizen project, and I want to tell you about the project. We had three different sessions on Wednesdays. The sessions were really fun. We wrote poetry and shared it with the class. It was great, because we got to meet different people, and it was nice to see the different things they like. Our whole class thought it was fun to make someone happy. We made posters that had poetry, artwork, and photos of our visits with the senior citizens. We got to hang our posters that we made at business all over Linden Avenue in Carpinteria. Each student in the class made a poetry scrapbook of all the wonderful things we did.
