Interview with Rick Dunlap, agent for State Farm Insurance.

Rick Dunlap has been an agent for State Farm Insurance for five years in its current location on Linden Avenue. He has been a State Farm agent in Carpinteria for 14 years. Previously the business was on Carpinteria Avenue, the other main street along with Linden Avenue in Carpinteria. His dad also worked for State Farm for 40 years! Mr. Dunlap has been an agent for 18 years.

State Farm is actually on Wullbrandt Way, a very short alley nestled along Linden Avenue. The street was named in honor of Ernie Wullbrandt, a city councilman who served on Carpinteria's first city council, and served continuously, until he passed away about 35 years later.

Mr. Dunlap says that State Farm replaced a juice bar and Pacific Health Food Store.
