Carpinteria State Beach since 1864
The Carpinteria State Beach is one of many California State Parks. Our state park has a lot of people going to it every day. It is one of the most popular parks in our state. People play sports there like, soccer. People take their dogs for walks. The state park is a local place you can go to any time you want. The state park is a very wonderful place.
People think that the park is a great place. People think it is a great place to go. The world's safest beach, as it is called, is located in the park. At the state park baby seals are born there. They are protected. It is called the rookery.
At the state park they also have the world famous tar pits. Some people have found fossils in the tar pits. The Chumash Indians had villages where the state park is today. You can find lots of different kinds of beautiful shells. There are lots of good trails and paths to hike on. Lots of different kinds of birds live there. You can see lots of them!!! Some people come to the state park to fish and surf. Some of the kids that go to the state park have ideas to make the state park even better: some say "grow more trees," "We should have volunteers work to pick up the trash," "there should be more garbage cans," " add a play-ground," "Find a way to save the animals." We think people should not have to pay for just 1-day use of the California state Park. It should be free.
Carpinteria's beach's have become some of the state's most popular destinations, perhaps because they provide campers with ample opportunities to explore tide pools and spot a wide variety of fowl.
