Vons is special to Main school because they are one of our community business partners. They sponsored computer teacher Julie Cole to go to the Teach the Teachers conference. They also sponsor a variety of events for the district.
Vons' motto is "Vons is Value" and they certainly have been a value to us!

Q. Were you ever in the same business anywhere else in Carpinteria? A. No, Vons was not anywhere else in Carpinteria.
Q. Was there a business in your same location before you moved in? A. A Safeway store.
Q. How long have you worked for this company? A. I’ve worked for Vons for 11 years.
